Atlantic City Weather
Temperature varies in Atlantic City. Summers are extremely hot and the air
from the Gulf of Mexico adds to the humidity. The ocean breeze does
little to affect the temperature and it generally stays above 80
percent humidity. Hurricanes are also a possibility; the state suffers
severe damage every few years from a strong storm. Even when there
are hurricanes in the south, the wind will push the rain all the
way up to the Jersey shore. However, during the majority of the
years, the rainfall is spread out evenly throughout the year. During
the winters, the sea salt air helps to decrease snowfall rates,
but the temperature is quite cold. Ideal visiting months are late
spring/early fall.
