Danish Culture

Copenhagen has one of the most homogeneous cultures in the world. The city is inhabited almost entirely by ethnic Danes. Danes are well-educated, charming, and friendly folk. They are extremely proud of their heritage and strive to preserve their unique culture. Denmark elected to keep their national Kroner in circulation rather then adopt the Euro despite pressure from the rest of the European Union.

Danish have a distinct style. By western standards, the Danish are one of the most attractive races. Ethnic Danes are typically tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. Danes are liberal minded and have a fashion sense all their own. Copenhagen is celebrated as one of the world’s great design capitals. Perhaps due to Denmark’s wintry climate, Danes fully appreciate coziness and have perfected the art of creating it.

Danes have a great appreciation for music and literature. The Royal Orchestra is one of the oldest in the world and who hasn’t heard of Copenhagen’s famous literary son H.C. Anderson.

Settle in and enjoy Copenhagen’s warm Danish culture.
