We stayed here in August '05. It was the most marvelous hotel we have ever experienced! Our room was delightful, we could control the air conditioning (something not common in Rome), and the staff was extremely helpful. It was 106 degrees F; and each day, no matter what time we returned from an exhaustive day, we were greeted by chilled wine and a snack. Their recommendations for restaurants were fabulous. The location cannot be beat--literally one block to the Forum, two blocks to the Colloseum. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Rome, though I hesitate to write this for fear that it will be booked up when we want to return!
