Getting Around Berlin

Getting around Berlin is easy, just use their public transportation. Berlin's convenient interconnected three-zone system (ABC) requires you to purchase one ticket, and allows you to hop on from bus to underground (U-Bahn) to surface rail (S-Bahn) to tram with just one ticket. Berlin is divided into transport zones A, B and C, but for most travel purposes A and B will be sufficient. There is an English translation on ticket vending machines at each station, so no worries when it comes to understanding what ticket is best for you. Public transportation is easy and cheap, and you can just relax and enjoy the view as you arrive to your final destination.
