Cape Town has a Mediterranean-type
climate with well-defined seasons. The winter months from May-August
bring in cool temperatures of about 7° C. During these months
you can expect to experience lots of rainfall and occasional
winds, so dress accordingly. Summer in Cape Town is warm and
dry. November through February is relatively comfortable with
the average temperature of around 26° C. Light cool breezes
