Education

• Academic Evaluation Center - In charge of curriculum evaluation and research. Its basic purpose is to contribute to academic improvement by means of research and evaluation of diverse aspects of education at the University. Services include academic load research and teacher evaluation.
• CICAP - The Research and Training Center for Public Administration. Includes info on strategic working areas, training programs, research, and continuing education courses.
• CIMAR - A multidisciplinary, scientific research unit which carries out projects, programs and support modules related to the marine and freshwater environments in the country.

• APREFLOFAS (Association for the Preservation of the Wild Flora and Fauna) - Nonprofit working in conservation and the relationship of humans and the natural environment. Gives information on activities, volunteering and ecotours. [English/Spanish/French]
• The Arias Foundation for Peace and Human Progress - Promotes dialog for conflict resolution, as well as participatory models of decision-making and economic development. Describes current projects, available reports and other publications, and founder's biography. [English/Spanish]
• Community Development with the Bribri of Costa Rica - Case study of the agricultural activities of the indigenous Bribri communities. Combining research projects, educational programs and the preservation of the Bribri culture and traditional farming knowledge.
• CR-USA Foundation for Cooperation - Organization which promotes cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of sustainable development. Projects include technical cooperation, technology transfer and capacity building. [English/Spanish]
• Fundación Paniamor - Children's rights group provides information and training, policy advocacy, and attention to disadvantaged adolescents. Includes information about child abuse and violence prevention programs, funding and donations.
