There are a number of ways to get around Maui and see it’s beauty. Renting
a car is practical, but can get a bit expensive. Besides why rent?
When you can take public transportation. With public transportation,
sight seeing and observing the island is a fun and calming experience.
Maui’s Public Transit consists of seven bus routes, all provided
by the Roberts Hawaii Company. Service is provided from Monday through
Saturday with the exception of Sunday. The bus service goes to various
locations such as Central, South, and West Maui communities. Transfers
are not given on any of the routes and vary in price depending what
location you want to head too. Public transportation is a fun, affordable,
and practical way of viewing and getting to any destination on the
island.
