Getting Around Miami

Miami-Dade Transit is the largest transit agency in Florida. It operates 100 + Metrobus routes, a 22-mile Metrorail, Metromover (an automated downtown people mover) and transports 96 million passengers a year.

During hurricane season, all transit service is discontinued three hours before the estimated arrival of tropical-storm winds of 39 miles per hour.
