Getting Around Palm Springs
Getting around Palm Springs is relatively easy. There are airlines,
public transportation, taxis and car rentals all in the city.
With the growing popularity of the city, airlines are constantly
adding more flights and more airline carriers are adding more service
to the desert. Therefore, prices are becoming even more competitive.
The easiest way to get into the city is through the Palm Springs
International Airport, which is about 1 mile from downtown. The
airport also has its own putting green, for those who wish to golf
while en route.
Once you arrive, you can either rent a car to visit the surrounding
cities of Palm Springs or if you are feeling adventurous, rent a
Harley Davidson to tour the desert resorts. The weather is also
usually accommodating and the scenes are quite beautiful. Golf carts
are also legal in many of the streets, which is another transportation
option.
