Getting Around Atlantic City
Atlantic City is very easy to get around. Many travel companies exist around
town and they will drop you off at the train station or the bus
depot, or you can ask them to drop you off at specific casinos.
The Atlantic City International Airport is located just minutes
from the city and offers shuttle, taxi and rental car transportation.
Philadelphia International Airport is only a 60-minute drive via
the Atlantic City Expressway.
The New Jersey Transit system arrives and departs through the rail
terminal adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center. Around
the city, there is accessible public transportation on New Jersey
Transit buses. You can also take the popular 13 passenger jitneys
that move the length of Pacific Avenue, parallel to the Boardwalk,
to the Marina District and to the Convention Center.
By train:
Take an Amtrack to Atlantic City from Penn Station. You’ll
change trains in Philadelphia.

By bus:
You can also take the Academy Bus Lines or the Greyhound Bus Lines
from Port Authority to Atlantic City with half the time and half
the price. Return tickets are good for four days. You also receive
a cash voucher for the casino worth most of the fare price.
